This fun method has a look of the Hawaiian style of quilting, using fused applique and quilted as you go. The day would involve cutting a pattern and fabric with fusible web and then doing the stitching, allow to make at least 2 blocks on the day. Either a large 18″ block design that could make a cushion or a large quilt block or a 12″ quilt block.
