Lois Parish Evans is an award winning textile artist/art quilter who has been passionate about textiles and creativity since childhood. Learning to sew and draw at an early age, Lois merged her two favourite subjects whilst at art school and has been creating textile art and exhibiting for many years.
Lois loves exploring and pushing her own creativity in new directions and in the process uses many design and textile techniques. Using the quilt as her canvas Lois incorporates many of the following techniques: raw edge applique, stenciling, stamping, hand-colouring and painting, thread-painting, free-motion quilting and often combines these techniques. She also loves to facilitate a learning environment that encourages participants to pursue their own learning and creativity.
