Dianne designed the bench pillow in 2021 and decided to use the hill top design as a quilt which produced the Town Square version. This is a raw edge fusible applique which Dianne will show how you can “appliquilt” (applique and quilt at the same time) or you can applique in the usual way and then quilt, your choice. Dianne has designed 16 different funky houses for you to choose from, select some or use all to make a bigger quilt. Choose your colourway—Dianne has used a selection of fat eighths in bright colours on a black background for the larger quilt and brights on white/black text for one pillow and country colours for the other pillow. You can layout differently,

You should be able to fuse all shapes for the bench pillow and get to
sewing/quilting the pieces in a one day class. If you want to fuse all 16 houses for a bigger quilt then you will not require a sewing machine unless you want to applique as you go.
