Shirley is a quilter and textile artist who has exhibited and won awards for her work both nationally and internationally.
A love of fabrics and thread led Shirley to careers in both the fashion industry and teaching textiles at intermediate and secondary levels. Shirley draws on the skills she developed in both careers to teach her quilting and textile art classes.
Her classes are aimed at encouraging participants to be creative and enjoy the process of learning different skills and developing their own style of work. She is enthusiastic about sharing her knowledge and helping others to achieve good results.
