In this whirlwind workshop, students begin to create an original art quilt collage by exploring a variety of ideas and techniques with layers of fabric, paint and stitch. Experiment with methods of creating marks on fabric then begin composing using intuitive ideas. 

Size: Students have an opportunity to compose a 40×40 cm art quilt collage.

Goals: Students will learn fused appliqué techniques, composition tips, and ideas for embellishing with stitch.
