This is a 2 day class. In this class I will discuss my use of colour and how
choosing fabrics for quilts should be a “no-brainer” and a stress-free activity!!
Students will learn:
• Techniques to make prepping your work quick and easy
• Using a Lightbox effectively to help in speeding up the prep process
• Needleturn applique – which need not be difficult – it should be relaxing
and fun and this class will prove that to you!
• Prepared edge applique using washaway paper.
• Template applique
• Easy peasey stems and circles
I will also discuss how to make a scalloped/curvy border, making sure all the
stripes on your fabric meet!!
