Let me take you on a carousel journey of fun, experimentation and creativity. Dianne has created painted fabric designs using a negative paint technique to show the wonderful printed fabric design under the paint with quilting for texture. Choose a favourite piece of fabric to showcase in this interesting and different method. There are 2 different ways of creating unique pieces that Dianne will share with you, one painted before quilting and one painted after quilting. You will see subtle differences and decide which way suits your project.
Using a stencil you will paint the background and then quilt the design and then we will use a stencil to quilt a design and then paint it.
