Debby Williams is a resident of Queenstown and a tutor with more than 30 years of quilting experience. She has been honoured with many national level quilt awards for her unique designs and meticulous attention to detail. Through more than twenty years of holding classes, Debby has had hundreds of loyal happy students.
Besides traditional quilting methods, Debby has a fascination with creating her own patterns, and making quirky, different pieces. She does this using a wide variety of materials which has given her a repertoire of experience to draw from. This makes the storehouse of knowledge she brings to her classes an interesting and varied resource.
Debby strives to infuse all her classes with her passion for quilting. Attention to detail, comprehensive notes, individual instruction and a general atmosphere of ‘can do’ in the classroom result in many repeat students. Her joy is seeing her students succeed and Debby does everything possible to make that happen in a relaxed fun way.
